Decision-makers
Our model is based on speed & certainty.
Once a sales team wants to pay your rate, you’re expected to move forward with the meeting & accept the proposed time.
If you’re concerned with being able to take future meetings, you can do one of these 3 things:
- Raise your price.
- Lower your max meetings per month.
- Add restrictions to your availability.
To edit or view your current preferences, email admin@book-meetings.com.
‣
Before the meeting
‣
- Once someone books you, we’ll send a calendar invite based on your calendar availability & restrictions.
- As long as the sales team pays your rate they will get to pitch (unless you don’t meet qualifications). Make sure your rate is set accordingly.
- Qualification: At the same time, we will send an email with up to 3 qualifiers from the vendor. If you do not meet these qualifications, please decline the meeting.
- are not using Salesforce as a CRM.
- do not oversee AEs.
- are already using a tool to solve XYZ.
Example:
You are expected to accept this meeting, but may decline if you:
‣
- The seller may contact you once with details before the meeting. You have no obligation to read or respond - although, it’d likely make a better meeting for everyone.
‣
- The meeting may be canceled altogether if you and the seller agree or if the qualifications are not met.
‣
During the Meeting
‣
- The meeting will be held in the seller's Zoom room (shared in the calendar invite).
‣
- You only have 2 responsibilities!
- be on time
- keep your camera on.
- Your cooperation & attention will be rated by the seller after the meeting but will not affect your payout for this meeting.
- We will be recording audio using Fireflies.ai and the seller may record as well.
‣
- If you and the seller agree, you may end the meeting early. You are not expected to prorate your hourly price, even if the meeting ends early.
‣
- The vendor is putting their money on the line, it’s up to them to be engaging and drive demand for the product.
- At the same time, discovery is critical and will help the seller tremendously. Please answer to the best of your ability.
‣
After the Meeting
‣
- You’ll be asked to rate the seller based on product relevance & overall pitch - it’s not required but appreciated.
- The seller will rate your overall attention & cooperation.
‣
- 2-3 days after the meeting, we’ll make the payout to your wherever you choose.
- If the seller would like to claim a refund, they’ll have 48 hours to do so. We’ll check the recording within 48 hours and let you know if there are any issues.
‣
- You have no responsibility to continue the conversation after the meeting. It’s ultimately up to the seller to drive urgency and deliver value on your call.
- Of course, the seller will want to contact you after the meeting - we can’t control this. We ask that you respond with honest feedback - it’ll create a better environment for everyone.
- If you let them know you’re not interested in moving forward and they continue to reach out, please let us know.

Sellers
‣
Before the meeting
‣
- You can place an order through our Order form. We’ll ask you:
- Which decision-makers you’d like to book
- Who will be taking the meetings (you or someone else on your team)
- Calendar link for your availability
- Zoom link for the meeting location
- Any disqualifiers for your prospect which will be sent to them before the meeting. These will be sent accordingly:
- are not using Salesforce as a CRM.
- do not oversee AEs.
- are already using a tool to solve XYZ.
- We’ll send over an invoice ASAP through Melio where you can pay by credit card, debit card, or ACH.
- Once your payment is made, we’ll schedule your meetings as soon as we can (ideally within 24 hours).
Example:
You are expected to accept this meeting, but may decline if you:
‣
- We’ll send out calendar invitations to schedule the meeting - please accept ASAP.
- It will include your Zoom link - please ensure it works before the meeting.
‣
- You may contact the prospect once before the meeting with any resources you’d like to provide - they have no obligation to read or respond.
‣
- The meeting may be canceled altogether if you and the decision-maker agree. A 15% fee will be charged to the vendor if cancellation occurs for any meeting other than the disqualifiers being met.
- If the meeting is cancelled because the disqualifiers are met, you will get a 100% refund for that meeting.
For qualification cancellation: The first 3 cancellations are freebies and will be refunded 100%. After that, you are required to sustain a 50% acceptance rate. This ensures that our executives are seeing relevant products > 50% of the time on average.
If your acceptance rate is below 50%, any declined meetings will only be refunded 75% (we will hold the remaining 25%).
‣
During the Meeting
‣
- The meeting will be held in the seller's Zoom room (shared in the calendar invite).
‣
- The decision-maker has no responsibility to buy your product or service; it’s up to the seller to drive demand & urgency on the call.
- We will be recording audio using Fireflies.ai; you should record with video to ensure expectations are met. You’ll be able to submit the recording to the post-meeting form within 48 hours.
‣
- They have 2 specific responsibilities: be on time and keep their camera on. Provided they meet these requirements, they will get paid.
- We can’t control or measure their attentiveness in the meeting, but you’ll get to rate them afterward to help other sellers on the platform.
- In the event that they don’t meet these requirements, you may upload your Zoom recording for our review. You’ll have 48 hours to submit this through the post-meeting form.
‣
- If you and the prospect agree, you may end the meeting early. They are not expected to prorate their hourly price, even if the meeting ends early.
‣
After the Meeting
‣
- You’ll be asked to rate the prospect based on attentiveness & cooperation - it’s not required but appreciated.
- The prospect will rate your overall pitch & product relevance.
- You’ll have 48 hours to request a refund if the prospect does not fulfill their responsibilities. You can do this through the post-meeting form. We’ll review it and get back to you.
‣
- Of course, you are allowed to contact the prospect after the meeting. We ask that if the prospect is not interested, you respect that & don’t continue to reach out.
